Kothimbir Vadi



Ingredients:

4 cups green coriander (chopped)
11/2 cups besan
1/2 cup rice flour
1 tsp til/ sesame seeds
1-2 tsp red chilli powder
1-2 teaspoons salt
¼ tsp haldi 
 2-3 cups oil for frying.
Grind- 4-5 green chillies,
Pinch of hing
Pinch of soda bicarbonte
1-2 tsp jaggery/ sugar 


Method:

Mix besan,rice flour, salt, ground chillies,til,soda,jaggery,haldi, coriander & 2tbsp oil,  add some water if needed to make a dough. Divide the dough into 2-3 parts. Shape the dough into long rolls. Place them on a greased plate. Steam the rolls for 10 minutes.  Keep them aside to cool. Cut into 1/2 inch  slices and deep-fry the vadis till they are light golden brown in colour & crisp or shallow fry them in a pan. Ready to serve Kothimbir Vadi.
It is also called as  Coriander Cutlets.
